Tyler dumping sand on his head...only minutes after not
wanting to get in the sandbox because it was "dirty"!

Tyler really likes his sandbox that MOMMY got him for his
birthday.

Blowing out the candles on his cake...I made the cake
myself...don't laugh!

Finding an egg and mama Linda's house. Cole and Tyler
did not want the eggs that didn't open (hard boiled) they
only wanted the plastic ones (with candy inside...smart kids!)

Tyler posing with his batch of colored eggs...nice huh?!

Okay, well I got addicted to Facebook (thanks Ashley!) and I have deserted my blog. I didn't realize it had been so long until I looked at the date of my last post. I will update you on our lives briefly. We had lots of fun at Easter looking for eggs and coloring eggs. Tyler also got way to much stuff from the Easter Bunny. On April 20, my little man turned the big 2! We celebrated with a Sesame Street party at our house on Sunday. I am crazy busy with school...ONLY 18 DAYS LEFT! and that pretty much brings you up to date in a nutshell! Here are an assortment of pics from Easter, B-Day and springtime fun outside...yes, it's finally warm enough to play outside!

Hollie's 1st Birthday

Wednesday, February 25 was my niece Hollie's 1st Birthday! We went to Uncle Wayne's to celebrate. She is walking a few steps at a time now (of course she wouldn't let me get pictures of that!). I got her a little tea set that makes noise and she loved it. She mostly loved drinking...well chewing on the cups, but in time she will understand to play with her toys and not just chew on them! Hollie has definitely learned how to be ornery. Every time that I tried to get a picture of her doing something "cute" she looked down. Oh well, who needs pictures of her taking some of her first steps???!!! Well, I did get some pictures of her. THese are pictures of my little princess...NOT LOOKING AT ME!

Cuddly Cousins

This is Tyler cuddling with Bryce a couple of weekends ago. Tyler is always asking about Baby Bryce. Yesterday we babysat Bryce for a couple of hours...well at least I did. Tyler was very helpful for the first 15 minutes, then he decided to go lay in his room and fall asleep. So much for his help. When Tyler woke up, his first question was "Baby Bryce at?" I had to explain to him that he slept on the job and Baby Bryce had to go home. I enjoyed watching Bryce so much! I can't wait until we can get all four boys together for a picture.

Crazy Christmas!

Well, I just went back to school this week after being off for over two weeks for Christmas break. You would think that with two weeks off, I would have gotten caught up on my Christmas blogging! Well, it just didn't happen. Things were so crazy over break. We started our Christmas at Grandma Joyce's the Saturday before Christmas. Tyler got to see all of his aunts and uncles and cousins. We had such a nice time. We always go to Danny's grandma Wassmann's on Christmas Eve. There were lots of family members and lots of food. It was a good time. When we got up Christmas morning, I felt like a kid again. But it wasn't about opening presents for myself, but I was so excited for Tyler to open his presents from Mommy and Daddy (and Santa!). Danny had to feed those cows so we had to wait until late morning to do the presents. Now when Tyler gets a few years older, I don't think he is going to be able to wait until Daddy gets done feeding cows. Tyler loved his presents. I think his favorites were his combine and stuffed Barney (it sings I Love You, You Love Me....what was I thinking???!!!). We also celebrated with Grandma Linda and PaPa Wassmann. THat was fun! We had everyone there. Cole and Tyler get each other wound up...and poor old Bryce he just doesn't know what he has in store for him with those two boys. We wrapped up CHristmas with a big Kempf family get together. I love the holidays and am always sad when they are over. But I am looking forward to warmer weather and not so much craziness. Hope you had a wonderful holiday season and enjoy the new year!
(tried to do pics but there are some technical difficulties? Hopefully I can get some on later)
